Abstract

MR brain perfusion represents the diagnostic method by which brain perfusion is being followed, that is brain blood supply. The method is useful for the estimation of the tissue after the acute stroke, histological noninvasive estimation of tumor, the estimation of neurodegenerative conditions as Alzheimer disease, the estimation of effects of the drugs being used for the treatment of these conditions. The aim of this study is to relate the advantages, as well as the manner of performing this method by magnetic resonance. MR perfusion represents the promising means that can be easily inserted as a part of routine examination of brain in order to be found in wide application.
